“Zoodles” AKA Zuchinni Noodles make a great pasta substitute and are simple to make at home.
Buying pre-made noodles is possible in both the fresh and frozen variety, but usually cost about 3x more compared to homemade.
There are a variety of spiralizer tools that you can purchase for homemade zoodles. My favorite is the kitchen aid mixer attachment! I have included the link below!
How to:
- Wash zucchini/yellow squash
- Remove the ends
- Cut in half width wise
- Place on the spiralizer
- GO!
How to use:
You can eat zoodles both raw and cooked
I prefer to cook in the oven @450 F for 10-15 minutes
Recipe Ideas
- My favorite way to prepare the zoodles is baking in the oven at 450F for 10-15 minutes and adding various seasonings, sauces or marinades!
- Roast up some bell peppers at the same time and add with either your favorite tomato sauce or vinaigrette.https://neversayneverwellness.com/2020/09/18/simple-oven-baked-sweet-bell-peppers/
