I developed this recipe after a night with a Louisiana native. Having lived in New Orleans, I have seen many devoted to a particle seasoning blend, topping almost anything with it! That night as I watched my friend sprinkle her favorite hometown seasoning on her food, I took a look at the ingredients and realized this would not fare well for those sensitive to garlic and onions nor those watching their sodium intake!
After that night I can right home and created this!! It is garlic, onion and salt free yet brings both a heat and savory taste that can take you right into a “Louisianna Kitchen”!
My favorite ways to use this blend are on shrimp, fillets of fish as well as creating a spicy tomato sauce!
As with my other seasoning blends, this recipe produces enough to store for later!! Prepping seasoning blends ahead of time and storing for later allows for an easy meal later on!

Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Red Chili Flake
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients into a mason jar
- Shake well
- Store with airtight lid
