Ingredients:
- 1 pork chop
- 1 teaspoon Onion, Garlic and Salt Free Montreal Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Place the cast iron skillet on the stovetop and add one teaspoon of olive oil to coat the pan.
- Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- While the pan is heating, add the seasoning to the pork chop coating both sides
- Once oil is heated, add the pork chop to the pan and sear for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, flip the pork chop and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Using gloves, remove skillet from the stovetop and transfer the skillet to the heated oven for another 3 minutes. Check temperature before placing in oven. If the pork chop is close to the internal temperature of 145F before placing in the oven, you may need less time.
