Moving toward a diet focusing on higher consumption of fruits and vegetables can really do a number on the grocery budget! With that in mind I am sharing the Environmental Working Group list of the “Dirty Dozen” and the “Clean 15”. The “Dirty Dozen” is the list of produce that is thought to contain the highest pesticide residue, therefore, would be best to buy organic. The “Clean 15” is thought to have the least pesticide residue making the conventional a reasonable choice when managing your grocery budget. If organic produce is not in the budget, buy conventional! The most important thing here is to increase your intake of fruits and vegetables!!!!
Another word on organic—-an “ORGANIC” gummy bear is still a GUMMY BEAR!!!!!!!
