This is a versatile recipe in that you can substitute out for other ground meats. These are great to make as a meal prep and add to salads, vegetables and sauces for a great protein source.
Pork is a great source of protein as well as other nutrients such as zinc, iron, B vitamins, selenium as well as antioxidants such as glutathione.
Look for pasture raised pork when purchasing for improved omega 3 profile!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork (you can substitute ground beef or poultry)
- 3 oz Primal Kitchen No Soy Teriyaki Sauce or other paleo friendly teriyaki sauce.
- 1 tablespoon Arrowroot Starch
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to bake 450F
- Line sheet pan parchment paper or silicone baking sheetAdd ground pork to bowl
- Add remaining ingredients
- Mix well
- Form meatballs about the size of your palm and place on baking sheet
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160F
