I keep a well-stocked pantry! Life often gets crazy, but with these basic items always on hand, along with online shopping, I am able to throw together fun meals not typically thought feasible!
For simplicity, I stock my pantry mainly through Thrive Market and Amazon.

Organic Tomato Paste
I am sure you have heard of the various “tastes” sweet, sour, bitter and salty, but have you discovered UMAMI? This is that savory taste you can find in meals. Tomato paste is great to have on hand to make your own sauces, stews and soups. Add a small amount to other dishes to add that savory taste.
I use: Bionaturae Organic Tomato Paste
Organic Tomato Puree/Strained Tomatoes
This is another great produce to use for making soups, stews and sauces. You can also use to add a little tomato flavor to a dish.
I use: Bionaturae Organic Strained Tomatoes

Arrow Root Starch and Tapioca Starch
Arrow Root Starch and Tapioca Starch are my go-to thickeners. Being on a diet that is grain and gluten-free these starches take the place of wheat and corn starch. Just a small amount will produce a wonderful thick texture to stews, soups, sauces and marinades. I also add to meats when pan searing and desiring a coated outer surface.
I use: Organic Arrowroot Starch/Flour/Powder
Thrive Market Organic Arrowroot Powder
Thrive Market Organic Tapioca Starch
Organic Olives
Olive Puree is a weekly menu item in my kitchen. Use this puree over veggies and fish for added flavor! My niece has been known to eat it straight out of the jar… Olives are also a great item to have on hand to throw on a salad for some healthy fats! I use the Lindsay Brand.

- Allspice

Organic Coconut Milk
This is my go-to dairy alternative in curries, sauces, soups, stews and meat dishes.
I use: Thrive Market Lite Organic Coconut milk – I found a lot of the coconut milks available for purchase have added gums, but this one doesn’t!
Organic Coconut Flour
I use coconut flour to a crust on meat and fish and as a flour replacement when making baked goods.
I use: Thrive Market Organic Coconut Flour
