I love making my own seasonings. Similar to making all of my own food, making my own spice mixtures ensures that I know exactly what is going in. Due to my own intolerance, I cook without salt, garlic and onions so I need to ensure that these ingredients don’t find their way into my spices as well!
This method is quick and makes life easier when preparing meals on a regular basis
The Go-To
- 1 ½ cup ground black pepper
- ½ cup red chili flakes
- In a 16 oz Mason Jar- Mix all ingredients well and seal with an airtight lid
I LOVE this basic seasoning. It is great when I just can’t decide what flavor I am in the mood for on veggies and makes the perfect topping for seafood!
Onion, Garlic and Salt Free Chili Powder
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 1 tablespoon cumin
This one reminds me of enchiladas and a warm winter chili! Put on meat, seafood and veggies!
Onion, Garlic and Salt-Free Greek Style Seasoning
- 1/4 cup Black pepper
- 1/4 cup Fennel seed
- 1/4 cup Marjoram
- 1/4 cup Oregano
- 2 tablespoons red chili flakes
- In a 16 oz Mason Jar- Mix all ingredients well and seal with an airtight lid
I love to use this seasoning on veggies, shrimp and in homemade turkey burgers!
Onion, Garlic and Salt-Free Tandoori Spice
- 6 Tablespoons Paprika
- 3 tablespoons Turmeric
- 3 Tablespoons Garam masala
- 3 Tablespoons Cumin
In a 16 oz Mason Jar- Mix all ingredients well and seal with an airtight lid
This is another favorite! Wonderful on a roasted chicken, veggies and seafood.

- 1/4 cup oregano
- 1/4 cup black pepper
- 1/4 cup marjoram
- 1/4 cup basil
